Volleyball

I have to say this is my most favorite sport. I love volleyball more than anything else in the world, honestly, I’d do anything just to play. The rush that you feel when you have to be quick to get to the ball. Knowing that when you yell out “Mine!” and everyone else backs off so you can just make that perfect pass, then getting ready to hit. I have to admit, I’m not that great in volleyball, I’m just average, but I’m constantly getting better. And it feels good to know that you’re improving. Honestly, sometimes when it’s an actual game and I get put in I get scared, but when that ball is in play, everything else disappears, it’s just you and the game. Volleyball can get rid of everything that’s on my mind. When I’m mad I can hit the crap out of it or just simply have fun with the rest of my team. That’s another thing, I miss being around people that have the same passion as you do for the sport. Like when I get an injury (sprained ankle, bent thumb, etc.) I don’t care I just wanna play. I try to play as much as I can because you never know when it’s your last chance to play. When you hit and it’s in you feel good about it, when you make the perfect pass you feel good, make that set you feel good, dive when you need to, have your team mates back, it’s just everything about volleyball makes me feel good. Sometimes things go wrong, but you can always redeem yourself so you can be better.

Basketball

I’m not really a ball player. But I do love basketball. I only played on a team one season and I sucked so bad, just ask anyone haha. I got a better, but not good enough to get back in the actual game. I like playing a game just with friends that love to play, but not on a team. I don’t think I’m ready for that just yet. Honestly, I don’t always keep track of fouls and assists and all that when I know I should. You can say I don’t know much about basketball, and you’re probably right. But I still love playing it. When there’s basketball games at school or the NBA going on, it’s a must for me to watch. The thing is it just gets my blood pumping either way. I don’t really know how to explain basketball, but as simple as it gets I love it (not as much as volleyball though)
